Ravda: Peace and relaxation for holidays in Bulgaria

Ravda is a small seaside village located a few kilometers from Nessebar and Sunny Beach. Unlike large tourist resorts, it has kept a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing seaside holiday.

Ravda’s main beach is clean and well-maintained. The water is shallow, ideal for families with children. There are also smaller, quieter coves for those who prefer to avoid the crowd. Along the shore, you’ll find a few seafood restaurants and beach bars, perfect for enjoying grilled fish with a sea view.

For history lovers, the neighboring town of Nessebar is a must-see. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s full of ancient and medieval remains, with charming cobbled streets. And if you want more excitement, Sunny Beach is just a few minutes away by bus.

Primorsko: Holidays in Bulgaria with nature, beaches, and adventure

Primorsko is a perfect destination for nature and adventure lovers. Located in the southern part of the coast, it offers varied landscapes between wild beaches, forests, and rivers.

Primorsko beach is one of the longest in Bulgaria. Its fine sand and crystal-clear waters attract vacationers, but it's still possible to find a quiet spot. A few kilometers away, Perla Beach is a true paradise, less frequented and surrounded by dunes.

Primorsko is also the starting point for exploring the Ropotamo Nature Park. This protected site is famous for its river winding through a dense forest. You can take boat excursions, observe rare birds, and even spot turtles.

For history lovers, the Thracian sanctuary of Beglik Tash is a must-visit. This ancient megalithic site is often compared to Stonehenge and offers a breathtaking view of the sea.

Sunny Beach: Festive atmosphere and entertainment

Sunny Beach is the most famous seaside resort in Bulgaria. Known for its lively nightlife, it attracts young people from all over Europe who come to party. But beyond the clubs and bars, Sunny Beach has much more to offer.

Its beach stretches for several kilometers, with fine sand and shallow sea. There are all kinds of water activities: jet skiing, parasailing, banana boat… Ideal for having fun with family or friends.

Sunny Beach is also an excellent base for exploring the region. Nessebar, just a few minutes away, is a historic gem not to be missed. For those traveling with children, the Sunny Beach Aqua Park is a perfect option for a fun day with water slides and wave pools.

The atmosphere of Sunny Beach is festive, but it's entirely possible to enjoy a quiet holiday by choosing accommodation a bit away from the central area.

Pomorie: Between beaches and wellness

Pomorie is a unique destination on the Bulgarian coast. In addition to its beaches, it is known for its mud baths and salt lake. If you want to combine relaxation and wellness, this is the perfect place.

Pomorie’s beaches are wide and offer warm water in the summer. The atmosphere is more relaxed than at Sunny Beach. But Pomorie’s true specialty is its healing mud. Used for centuries, it is reputed to be beneficial for the skin and joints. You can enjoy a treatment in a spa or directly at the lake, where visitors cover themselves in mud before rinsing off in the sea.

Pomorie also has a charming historic center with old churches, local markets, and small cafés where it’s pleasant to linger. Don’t miss a visit to Saint George Monastery and the local winery, which produces one of the best Bulgarian wines.

Chernomorets: Holidays in Bulgaria in a warm seaside village

Chernomorets is a charming small village located on the southern coast of the Black Sea, just about ten kilometers from Sozopol. Unlike large lively seaside resorts, Chernomorets offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing seaside holiday.

You’ll find several beaches with different characteristics: some are sandy and ideal for families, while others, rockier, attract snorkelers. Gradina Beach, very popular, stands out with its fine sand and lively beach bars.

The village itself has kept an authentic atmosphere, with small markets, restaurants serving fresh fish, and family hotels. It’s the perfect place to try local specialties like fresh mussels or grilled fish.

Kraimorie: Tranquility near Bourgas

Kraimorie is a coastal district of Burgas, ideal for those looking for a quiet place while staying close to a big city. With its fishing village vibe, it offers a calmer alternative to crowded seaside resorts.

Its beaches are small but pleasant, with clear and shallow water, perfect for families with children. The area is also appreciated by seafood lovers, with several restaurants serving typical regional dishes.

From Kraimorie, you can explore the surroundings, notably the Poda Nature Reserve, a paradise for birdwatchers. The center of Burgas is only about fifteen minutes away by car, allowing you to combine urban activities and seaside relaxation.

Bata: Holidays in Bulgaria far from civilization

Bata is a small village located a few kilometers from the coast, between Pomorie and Sunny Beach. Less known than the neighboring seaside resorts, it attracts those looking to discover a more rural and authentic Bulgaria.

Here, no crowded beaches or large hotel complexes. You’ll find agricultural landscapes, vineyards, and traditional houses. It’s an ideal place to recharge far from the hustle, while staying close to the sea.

Bata is also an excellent starting point for excursions into the countryside, discovering traditional villages and hidden monasteries. It’s the perfect place for those wanting a different experience, between nature and culture.

Primorsko is one of the favorite seaside destinations for Bulgarians, located about 50 km south of Burgas. Known for its long fine sandy beaches and lively atmosphere, it attracts both families and young travelers.

The town offers two main beaches: the north beach, wilder and windier, ideal for water sports lovers, and the south beach, calmer, perfect for swimming. The waters are clear and shallow, making it a safe spot for children.

Primorsko is also the starting point for exploring the Ropotamo Nature Reserve, with its winding rivers and beautiful landscapes. You can take a boat ride to observe the local wildlife, including turtles and rare birds.
